The lower portion of the face, including chin, jaw and lips is the integrity of a person’s face. A weak or recessed jaw and chin may appear smaller compared to the rest of the facial features. Multiple factors including genetics and lifestyle can be causative. Injectable fillers are a great alternative to surgical interventions and implants to treat this condition.

Risks & adverse effects
Risks and adverse effects associated with injectable fillers are minimal in general. The common immediate adverse effects are bruising, redness, swelling and itching in the injected area which will subside in a few days. Much less commonly there may be eruptions, skin sores or infection at the injection site. On rare occasions, hard persistent bumps or nodules may form requiring surgical excision or dermal fillers may migrate and spread to an area other than the one they were injected into.
