non-surgical rhinoplasty

With the advances in medicine and the aesthetic field, fillers can be used to address certain anatomical irregularities or defects in the nose, or simply to reshape and aid in further balancing of the facial proportions, eliminating the need for scalpel and surgical interventions. The central location of the nose along with its vascularity makes this the most complex and a very delicate procedure which must be performed only by highly trained and advanced board-certified physicians.

Risks & adverse effects

Risks and adverse effects associated with injectable fillers are minimal in general. The common immediate adverse effects are bruising, redness, swelling and itching in the injected area which will subside in a few days. Much less commonly there may be eruptions, skin sores or infection at the injection site. On rare occasions, vascular complications may occur which include localized tissue compromise and/or blindness, hard persistent bumps or nodules may form requiring surgical excision or dermal fillers may migrate and spread to an area other than the one they were injected into.

How Does It Work?

The procedure is done after careful consideration of the facial anatomy, dynamics and proportions. Results are achieved by injection of hyaluronic acid fillers in multiple areas of the nose to create support and contour. It is important when considering non-surgical rhinoplasty to realize that this is a highly specialized and delicate procedure and required a highly trained clinician to attain the most favourable results. At One Clinic MD, only highest quality hyaluronic acid fillers are used with extensive research and development, proven safety and effectiveness, and approved by Health Canada. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the downtime?

There is very little downtime after this procedure, except for some swelling which can last for the first few days post-procedure. Bruising may happen and will resolve after a few days.

How much does this procedure cost?

The price varies due to the fact that every procedure is individualized to every patient’s facial structure considering their aging process and done after a careful assessment of facial proportions. Please contact us for further information.

What products do you use for non-surgical rhinoplasty?

At One Clinic MD, only the highest quality injectable fillers with proven safety and effectiveness are used.

Do you recommend non-surgical rhinoplasty prior to surgical intervention?

While there is always a time and place for surgical intervention, most nasal deformities or reshaping can be done with the non-surgical approach. One of the advantages of this procedure is that it allows the patient to see the change in overall facial shape and the nose itself if surgical intervention was to be done. Therefore it is very common for people to have this procedure done prior to consideration of surgical intervention.
