Lip Enhancement

Lips are the second feature in the face noticed. As such it is very important that they are in proportion with the rest of the facial features. Lip enhancement is one of the most complex and difficult procedures performed and must not be taken lightly, as multiple factors, including a person’s lip structure in neutral and dynamic position, can affect the results. Therefore a solid knowledge of anatomy is a must, in addition to a skilled technical approach. At One Clinic MD, creating subtle natural beautiful shaped lips that are proportional to the rest of the facial features is the goal.

Risks & adverse effects

Risks and adverse effects associated with injectable fillers are minimal in general. The common immediate adverse effects are bruising, redness, swelling and itching in the injected area which will subside in a few days. Much less commonly there may be eruptions, skin sores or infection at the injection site. On rare occasions, hard persistent bumps or nodules may form requiring surgical excision or dermal fillers may migrate and spread to an area other than the one they were injected into.
